Our first Dinner Night is Tuesday September 6th 4-8 pm.  Join us a t Big Pie in the Sky Pizza and ZOYO.  Wear your Spirit Wear for a chance to win a FREE cup of ZOYO!  Remember these restaurants donate portions of all the sales from Big Shanty back to the Big Shanty PTA to help fund programs throughout the year.  Be sure to mention that you are with Big Shanty!

Reflections is a nationwide PTA-sponsored program to celebrate children’s talents.  Projects in visual arts, literature, photography, film production, dance choreography, and music are judged by grade level at the school level. Winners may advance to district, state, and national levels. All participants are honored with special recognition. Congratulations to Christy Ball our August volunteer of the month!  Christy is an awesome, energetic and talented lady. She has worked tirelessly this summer to pave the way for great events and opportunities for the children at Big Shanty this school year.  She always has a smile and is ready to pitch in to make PTA events and our school a great place to grow, learn and teach.  She was voted in as volunteer of the month by the Executive Committee on 7/28/2016.
